MATKO D.Turnenopoulos S.A. operates three quarries on Tranovalto Kozanis which contain excellent marble quality (white, semi-white, "fume"). Especially the top quality ACHILLEAS marble, is almost monopoly for the company.
In these quarries of Kozani every year are mined hundred of marble tons, where after specialized processing they become excellent products that are transported on international markets.
